Abstract: Screwed fin was mounted on the heat transfer surface, to promote saturated pool nucleate boiling heat transfer. The knowledge and findings obtained through this experiment are the following: (1) In larger number of screwed fins (1pce., 2pcs., 4pcs.), the more heat transfer is promoted, at a screwed fin heat transfer surface with a diameter of 30mm and a screw diameter of d= 8mm. (2) The influence of the height of screwed fin on the promotion of heat transfer is not so conspicuous. (3) In one same heat flux, at the lower the pressure the more conspicuously the promotion of heat transfer is indicated.(4) In the scope of this experiment, we newly obtained non-dimensional formula of saturated pool nucleate boiling heat transfer by screwed fin heat transfer surface.
