Abstract: We took up a half through steel Lohse Bridge constructed in 1973 to a study object in this paper. And, we did examination of whether this bridge satisfied earthquake-proof performance in a standard of current the specification of a highway bridge. After that, we examined the earthquake-proof performance after having put earthquake-proof reinforcement, too. At first, we did examination of whether the study object bridge satisfied the earthquake-proof performance 1 by earthquake vibration of level 1 and we did examination of whether satisfied the earthquake-proof performance 2 by earthquake vibration of level 2, next. As a result, this bridge needed earthquake-proof reinforcement and we carried out earthquake-proof reinforcement such as the concrete filling, PUFA filling, the establishment of sliding support and examined about the earthquake-proof performance, too.
